The Epsom Symphony Orchestra presents Autumn Classics, under the baton of our musical director, Darrell Davison. We begin with the joyful overture to Smetana’s comic opera the Bartered Bride.
We continue with that jewel of Romantic music, Dvorak’s cello concerto. Our home grown soloist, Dan Brandon, was awarded principal cellist of the NYO & now studies at the prestigious Hannover Hochschule in Germany.
The classical feast concludes with Brahms 4th Symphony , a monumental work of profound depth & power.
