Join us on Saturday 2nd March at 7.30pmwhen Epsom Symphony Orchestra is proud to present “Elegy & Idyll”, an exciting programme of music by British composers. The orchestra, under the baton of conductor Musical Director Darrell Davison, will be joined by award-winning cellist Ben Tarlton to give us his rendition of the Elgar cello concerto.The concert begins with the overture “Di Ballo”, a joyful set of dances so typical of composer Arthur Sullivan. The first half also features Delius’s Summer Evening.The performance concludes with Vaughan Williams’ fifth symphony.
