CONTEMPLATIVE MUSIC FOR CHOIR AND SAXOPHONE
Epsom Chamber Choir are eagerly looking forward to their first concert programmed and directed by new conductor Jack Apperley.

Presenting an intriguing combination of pieces for choir and saxophone, the centrepiece of the first half is a series of ‘nocturnes’ arranged by Christian Forshaw. Their guest saxophonist Naomi Sullivan will also join the choir in works by James MacMillan and Will Todd. In addition, the programme includes music from composers Paul Mealor, Gail Randall and Cecilia McDowall with the second part of the concert devoted to the contemplative and much-loved Requiem by Herbert Howells.
