Epsom Medical Equipment Fund is aiming to purchase a special camera for eye problems for use in the Ophthalmology Unit at Epsom General Hospital. This camera will cover a variety of eye problems. Many photographs will be taken and studied while the patient is present but after they have gone home the photos can be studied in greater detail and discussed with colleagues who have a speciality in different parts of the eye which could prevent the patient going blind. EYES ARE SPECIAL SO IS SIGHT! Cameras cost £72,000.
To help raise the money a SALE of a variety of goods – knitwear, knee and baby blankets, soft toys, shawls, cards and recycled cards, jumpers, blouses, small and large pictures, hats, books, baby clothes, records, dvd’s, cds,a etc., collector’s dolls.
Why not pop along on Bank Holiday Monday to see if there are any items you would like to purchase. All monies raised will go towards the camera. Donations are very welcome. Cheques should be made out to Epsom Medical Equipment Fund.
