DESCRIPTION:For their Autumn Season finale\, Epsom Jazz Club welcome Italian-American composer\, producer and mighty fine reed man\, Giacomo Smith. \nKnown for his work as the founder of influential UK band Kansas Smitty’s\, honing Smitty’s sound over five acclaimed studio albums\, Giacomo has also amassed numerous years of touring across the EU and US. \nFor this very special performance he will be presenting “Trav’lin Light”\, a brand new project which sets out to explore the under travelled land of “folk-jazz”\, a term coined by one of his inspirations\, clarinettist\, Jimmy Giuffre. \nA truly fantastic evening of music.
