DESCRIPTION:As St Martin’s resident organist\, Iain is best placed to get the most out of the superb 3-manual Norman & Beard instrument which he knows so well. His programme includes Bach’s Prelude and Fugue BWV543 (known as the ‘Great A minor’) a sonata by Josef Rheinberger\, who was a contemporary of Brahms\, and music by Charles Villiers Stanford who died 100 years ago this spring.
