The Requiem unfolds as a gentle\, lyrical expression of consolation\, through rich melody\, untroubled sweetness and beauty\, into episodes of monumental power.\nThis choral performance of the Requiem will be accompanied by Brahms’ Tragic Overture\, a free-standing symphonic movement for orchestra.
