DESCRIPTION:An Epsom care home is opening its doors to the community to mark 80 years since the end of World War II. \nOn Thursday 8th May\, from 2pm-4.30pm\, Care UK’s Appleby House\, on Longmead Road\, is welcoming local people to honour the 80th anniversary of VE Day with its very own 1940s-themed celebration. \nTeam members and residents will turn back the clock as they dress in 1940s themed attire\, while vintage singer Amy Putt will get everyone’s toes tapping with songs from the wartime era.
