It is based on Matthew Chapter 11 verses 28 to 30: I will give you rest. SUMMARY:Epsom Choral Society –  Brahms: A German Requiem and Rheinberger
DESCRIPTION:This concert features one of the choral masterpieces Brahms’ A German Requiem\, performed in a chamber version. \nThe German Requiem was scored for symphony orchestra and a version for piano duet\, but Epsom Choral Society will perform the work in a relatively new arrangement by Iain Farrington. We will be joined by the English Sinfonietta Chamber Ensemble and soloists\, Elizabeth Findon and Dominic Sedgwick\, and be conducted by Julian Collings. \nWe will also perform works by Josef Rheinberger: the much-loved motet Abendlied\, and his Mass in E flat\, a work for double choir\, considered to be Rheinberger’s finest work.

DESCRIPTION:Tomorrow’s New Quartet are a London-based band compromising some of the UK’s young jazz stars\, namely sax player Tom Smith\, pianist Sam Watts\, electric bass-player Flo Moore and compositional drive behind the band drummer Rod Oughton. Their debut album “All Together\, Now!” was released on Ubuntu in 2022\, and was given the “Editor’s Choice” review in Jazzwise Magazine. They have toured all over the UK and Ireland\, performed the Love Supreme Festival\, and got their music onto BBC Radio 3\, Jazz FM and London Jazz Radio and streamed over a million times across the streaming platforms.
