Most will also recognise Chabrier’s rhapsody for strings\, Espana\, inspired by the composer’s tour of Spain. \nAward winning Scottish saxophonist\, Richard Schofield joins us to play the Carmen Fantasy for string\, featured in several films. \nUnder the baton of our Musical Director\, Darrell Davison\, the fiesta is complete with Falla’s ballet music from the Three Cornered Hat & the ever popular Capriccio Espagnole by Rimsky Korsakov which is based on Spanish folk melodies.
