SUMMARY:Epsom Jazz Club - Alina Bzhezhinska & Tony Kofi
DESCRIPTION:This gig will see both a return for one of our artists and an “instrument first” at the club: Tony Kofi (who played his sax for us last year as part of Sharp Little Bones) will be joined by an album collaborator\, Alina Bzhezhinska – who will be the first musician to bring a harp through the Epsom Jazz Club doors. Also no stranger to awards and high-profile collaborations\, Tony Kofi played Glastonbury last year as part of the new line-up of jazz funk legends Cymande\, and has in the past collaborated with some true greats – in particular Donald Byrd\, Eddie Henderson\, Abdullah Ibrahim and Ornette Coleman. They will be joined by special guest playing percussion\, Joel Prime. An evening not to miss. \n  \nLine-up: \n  \nAlina Bzhezhinska: harp \nTony Kofi: saxophone \nJoel Prime: percussion
