Music@StMartin’s Recital Series

Since Opera Holloway last visited St Martin's, their star singers have made their international debuts and are in demand across the UK and overseas. This concert promises a programme of operatic favourites -a musical feast of solos and ensembles sung by local soprano, Callie Gaston, tenor William Branston and baritone Sam Oram. Enjoy some of opera's greatest moments from Faust, La Boheme, Il Barbiere di Siviglia, Don Giovanni and more in the glorious acoustic and visual setting of St Martin's church.

An Afternoon at the Opera – by Opera Holloway

A musical feast is on offer of favourite operatic arias, duets and trios from some of opera's best loved operas. On the menu are Faust, La Traviata, La Bohème, Il Barbiere di Siviglia and more. Since Opera Holloway last performed at St Martin’s, star singers - Soprano Callie Gaston, Tenor William Branston and Baritone Sam Oram - have overcome both Brexit and Corona to make their International debuts continue to be in demand in the UK and overseas.

The afternoon’s delights include O mio babbino caro (Puccini), The Pearl Fishers Duet (Bizet) and Nessun Dorma (Puccini).
