Bach Magnificat – Roth Time to Dance

18th century meets 21st Century in Epsom Chamber Choir’s spring concert where J S Bach’s brilliant Magnificat is paired with Alec Roth’s equally exuberant ‘A Time to Dance’. The Magnificat is popular with singers and audiences alike and ‘A Time to Dance’ consists of numerous short and highly rhythmic movements for choir and soloists. The choir will be joined by the Affinity Chamber Orchestra and expertly directed by their conductor Jack Apperley. With St Martin’s Church providing the ideal acoustics for this programme, the audience can look forward to a memorable and energising concert.
