To the Moon & Beyond: Kingston’s Solar System Walk

This summer, Kingston residents and visitors are invited to experience space on a local scale with “To the Moon & Beyond: Kingston’s Solar System Walk”, a free, family-friendly attraction running from 20 July to 31 September at Fairfield Recreation Ground.

Created to celebrate International Moon Day, the self-guided trail transforms the park into a scale model of the Solar System, allowing visitors to walk past the planets putting the vast distances of space into human perspective.

Perfect for families, walkers and space enthusiasts of all ages, the trail can be completed at any time and at your own pace throughout the summer holidays.
