A rising star of the violin will bring an hour of music to Epsom in a free early-evening concert on Monday 2 November.

Gáspár Kelemen, an international prize-winning violinist from Hungary and a student at the Royal Academy of Music, will perform at Epsom Methodist Church on Ashley Road.

His programme includes Bartók’s First Rhapsody, Bach’s Andante and Allegro in A minor, Paganini’s Caprice No. 13, Ysaÿe’s Saint-Saëns Waltz Caprice and Sibelius’s Violin Concerto in D minor.

The concert begins at 6.30pm and lasts for one hour—an opportunity to relax after work and before dinner while enjoying music from an exceptional young performer.

He wowed the audience at a Ukraine Music Evening at Epsom Methodist Church on 3rd October and this is a chance to hear this remarkable talent again as he returns to Epsom.

The event is organised by Lionel Blackman, director of Epsom Music, the charity that also runs Epsom Jazz Club.

Admission is free, all are welcome and no reservations are necessary.

When: Monday 2 November 2026, 6.30pm–7.30pm
