Join us in Epsom to venture underground on torchlit tours to explore amazing hidden wartime air raid shelter tunnels! Find out the mystery surrounding the first building of the shelter and how Epsom Council created the Ashley Road Deep Level municipal air raid shelter to attempt to protect the citizens of the sleepy suburbs from Luftwaffe attack during the Second World War. Constructed 50 ft underground, the tunnels provided shelter to 1,500 people. The last of Epsom’s air raid shelters which remains accessible. Spaces limited.
