Body found in Ewell house fire

| Police were called to the address around 1.50am following reports of a fire at the address. A 44-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the incident and remains in custody. A search of the property is underway and the investigation remains ongoing. Epsom and Ewell Borough Commander Inspector Jon Vale, said: “A number of people called emergency services to report the fire and we would like to thank them for their prompt action. We realise that this incident would have caused a great deal of distress and concern in the local community and we would like to reassure you that an investigation is underway to establish exactly what happened.
